Our Story
Wild Cherry Furniture began the way all good things do—by getting our hands
dirty. While restoring vintage pieces for Casa di Amici, our vacation rental
homes in Wildwood, we fell hard for thrifted furniture with history, and good
bones. Pieces that weren’t perfect but had undeniable potential—kind of like us.
That obsession with craftsmanship and character quickly grew into something
bigger than restoration; it became a way of life.
When Cherry Home Designs opened its Westfield storefront, the space became
more than a studio—it became a meeting ground for collaboration. That’s when
Gene Salerno of Wild Edge Designs walked through the door, and a shared
belief in custom-made and salvaged furniture sparked an instant partnership.
Wild Cherry Furniture was born from that creative collision—part design studio,
part workshop, part thrift shop. Entirely focused on creating furniture that means
something, works for real life, and lasts a lifetime.
Today, we design and build bespoke furniture—made for you, by us. From dining
tables and media centers to fireplaces, custom closets, and statement pieces,
every project starts with a conversation and ends with something deeply
personal. We salvage what we can, celebrate live-edge slabs, and layer in
artistic finishes—from croc texture to paint pours, decoupage, and appliqués.
This isn’t just a catalog.
It’s an invitation.
To dream bigger. To break from the expected.
